AIRLINE/FERRY INFO
When travelling to the BVI, there are no direct flights to the British Virgin Islands' main airport, the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport (EIS). All flights must connect through another Caribbean airport on islands such as Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, or St. Maarten.
Most airlines codeshare from San Juan, Puerto Rico with one of the following regional airlines: Cape Air, InterCaribbean, Liat, Seabourne, or Winair.
You may also hire a private air charter via VI Airlink.
If you are flying via Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, taking a ferry across to Tortola is the most recommended route. See links to ferry companies at the bottom of this page.
You'll need a valid U.S. passport with at least one blank page to travel to the British Virgin Islands and to re-enter the United States. Upon arrival on the islands, you'll also need to present proof of return flights or continuing travels, and you can anticipate a departure tax when you leave.
When filling out the the BVI Customs' form, please list Villa Zenaida, Little Bay, Tortola as your hotel/villa, phone number 284-343-1483.
